things are clicking …..

I had a mini meeting, basically to establish the time for a more formal meeting at which time I’ll be discussing a new fundraiser for a soup kitchen, once approved I will be sharing the details here and most likely hot from the kettle

additionally we’ll be discussing doing cooking classes as a fundraiser for the soup kitchen 9 months ago

so my reputation as a food writer and food photographer is getting around … instant messenger went off after 11 pm tonight with a local restaurant giving me the scoop that they will be opening on Tuesday morning, there’s still some work to be done at the location but they know I have done stories about other restaurants in similar conditions and cropped and edited photos so they everything appeared perfect.

it neat to know that the world is calling me a foodie and a photog, and being trusted like that is great 12 months ago

a lady approached me today to thank me for inspiring her to just do it

my puzzled look was probably very obvious, although I didn’t mean it to be so

she had taken two of my classes and but felt the encouragement to just do it was was really was driving the mood of the class

it was a pretty awesome feeling 21 months ago

I got the idea for this goal from the last episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show and am starting to realize that when I embrace the light everything seems to fall into place. Put another way its about going with your gut and not second guessing yourself. 22 months ago
