We bought a Roomba. Amazing! Totally helps. Still not as clean as I’d like it but no dog fur!!
How to keep my house presentable
How I did it: I just had to quit thinking about it, and then get it done - nothing's ever as bad as it seems when you're just thinking about it... putting it off.... Just make a point of doing a little each day, then things don't pile up on you.

My house wouldn’t kill anyone with disease, however we are a busy family and it seems that the whole family (hubby, two girls) just wander through drop things and keep moving through our busy weeks and EVERY weekend it seems that I’m doing the biggest clean up all the time.
I’ve decided that to achieve this I’m going to keep a regular schedule . I will do smaller tasks more often and have one weekday be a straighten up day. Currently I do cleaning on the weekends and there just isn’t enough time. I think this plan will work better and help keep me more sane!
seems to be, putting your house up for sale and giveing the estate agent the keys!!
Getting much better at this one :)
I think it’s the opposite. The smaller the space, the harder it is to keep everything organized. I used to be an extremely organized person. When I first moved into my condo, I got rid of A LOT of my stuff. But I still manage to throw clothes on the floor and to keep my coffee table and kitchen table a MESS. Clutter, clutter, clutter. It’s gotten to the point where I can never accept unexpected guests. Lame. I just need to get more organized about my stuff.
I don’t want to have to run around cleaning like a crazed maniac every time that I know someone is coming to my house. I don’t care if the place is spotless; I just want it to be presentable.
