i want to be healthy and active and not tired all of the time. I want to be a good example to my girls. I want to look good!
How to weigh 145 lbs
How I did it: I starting counting my calorie intake and made sure to stay just above 1200 calories each day. That got me going and after a few weeks I stopped being so strict and just watched what I ate, stayed away from horrible junk food and made sure to work out for at least 20 minutes 3-4 times a week. I also make sure to always have a lot of water every day. The weight came off ever so slowly, but it came off nonetheless.
Lessons & tips: Never give up, just keep the big picture in mind. You'll live longer, feel better, and be happier for doing this!

I weighed about 142 lbs when I started college…gained 30 lbs freshman year…now about 158 lbs.
Last time I weighed myself, I was 146 lbs, and I doubt I could have gained weight, because I have absolutely nothing to eat at all…
BUT I am determined to be under 150 lbs. I’ve entered my danger zone at over 150 lbs and I need help. This time, I actually want to keep the weight off.
Ive been trying to be more healthy ever since i moved to the city but its hard, everywhere i look there is some fried oily or something packed with sugar staring back at me.. I try to gym it when im not working, but thats only about 3 times a week.. Ive been eating salads and fruit alot this week which is good :) Im going to Syd with my bf today for a few days so we’ll see if i can stay on the straight and narrow the whole time.
i think i gained those two pounds back this weekend. no worries though. i can shave ‘em off again. ive almost completely switched to diet coke, and im trying to eat more balanced meals. go me!
weighed myself this morning. down to 153! they always say the first pounds are the easiest to lose, but whatever, its good motivation.
i stepped on the scale this morning. ive lost half a pound. not a bad start. i feel good with all this water im drinking. tonight i had chocolate fondue, but thats the key to dieting: no deprivation, just moderation. i eat breakfast every morning and try to eat fruits when i want sweet stuff. we’ll see how this goes over the fourth of july weekend, i guess.
