    -3.5 :-) 4 months ago

improved 5 years in 1 month. insane! but i swear it is visible in the mirror!
i forgot what i did in the mean time since i log to realAge often to read my reccomendations.
i do pilates twice a week and some other things, as omega3 (instead of fish), vegies. but pilates made majority of change, i suppose, since there is some stretching and some light strength exercise.

oh yeah. and i ticked off bad back (i forgot i ever had it).

    +2.2 5 months ago

i improved by 2 years in 2 months but i dont know how, since i couldn’t update the test i did it again so i don’t know where’s difference. i suppose it is that i have increased my fruit and veegie and soy intake, and i meditate daily. and i have more friends.

i plan to focus on 4 easy steps (4 F)

    multiVitamin
omega3 and soya instead of Fish
    Flexibility
    Floss

i purchased the book and it is great.
    also the site improved further
we are blessed to have such a great, life-altering tools as 43T and realAge for free!!

    OMG 5 months ago

couple of months ago it was +4, it means in 2 years i grew older 8 years. and my mirror tells me the same.

i don’t have my test from before to compare what went wrong except family member ilness, but it doesn’t matter now…

Retook the Real Age test 9 months ago

I just turned 39 and I came out with a Real Age of 34. That had me feeling pretty cocky until I clicked the button “What’s making you older”. Mostly not getting decent enough nutrition. Stuff that’s totally within my control.

So I think I’ll try to reduce my “Real Age” by another 2 years.

Today, January 25, 2008, your RealAge is 29.4! 17 months ago

Re-did the test today reflecting my current lifestyle!

    beelikethebug is here! Woo!

I just took the test... 18 months ago
I just finished the test for this, and found out that while my chronological age is 28.2, my real age is 30.3 (+2.1 yrs.) I am really happy about this, considering that I quit smoking just recently, but it definitely pointed out my trouble areas. It says to choose 1-3 action steps to follow for the next 90 days, and then to retake the test. So, the action steps I will follow will be (I picked more than 3…):
    • Begin taking vitamins daily. I’m definitely going to take a multivitamin, but I might also take vitamin C and E, calcium, and folic acid supplements.
    • Increase my vegetable intake. I really don’t eat enough vegetables-far from it-and I think this will help a lot.
    • Floss every day. I need to do this way more than I do.
    • Continue to not smoke. Woo! It’s been about 4 and 1/2 months. I feel so much better now.
    • Do not talk on the phone while driving. I am so guilty of this, and it has gotten worse since I got this new job. I need to remember that, if it is that important to take a phone call at that second, then I need to pull over.

    Starting point 18 months ago

    Calendar age: 29.6
    RealAge: 30.0
    Difference: +0.4

    Making me older:
    No Dog ownership
    Potassium levels
    Low vegetable intake
    Low unsaturated fat
    High resting heart rate
    Lack of flexibility exercises
    Workout schedule
    Flossing habits
    Low grain intake
    Low omega-3 intake
    Low fruit servings
    Oral hygiene concerns
    High red meat intake
    Vitamin E intake
    Have cholesterol level measured
    Social network and stress
    Strength training level

I’m starting with oral health, which should/could be within easy reach…

    I lost 1.6 years!!! 2 years ago

    WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
In three months i went from + 1.8 to now being +.2
I am so proud of myself and it really wasnt that hard. I decreased intake of red meat (almost none), flossed regularly, made an effort to exercise more, increased vitamin intake. And of course it is another 3 months since i stopped smoking and my body is healing. So today I am 28.2 years old chronologically and my real age is 28.4. I can live with that (although wouldnt it be amazing to have a younger body? maybe i should try that)

aging backwards, saying goobye to my 40s, aaack! 2 years ago

I’m 36 and my RealAge was 40.6 when I took the test! I’ve probably significantly reduced it already.

    • Good sleep levels I make an effort to go to bed by 11.
    • Vehicle sizeIt’s still a monster.
    • Limited or no secondhand smoke exposurenever a problem
    • Parents relationshipstill together
    • Alcoholnada
    • Daily breakfastyupppers!
    • Diverse diet *could use some work
    • No ovarian cancer in family
    • Flexibility routine hmmm, could work on this too
    • No drinking and drivingcertainly not
    • Cell phone useuse minimally
    • Breast cancer historynada
    • Nonsmokerno thanks
    • Minimal caffieneI have been a coffee hound but eased up recently. I only have one coffee max.
    • Low vegetable intake
    • Low fruit servings
    • Low unsaturated fat
    • Workout schedule now working out 20 mins a day
    • Potassium levelsprobably taken care of with multivitamin and daily food
    • Low grain intake I think I get alot of grains and they are always fibrous.
    • Low omega-3 intakedone, take Omega-3 pills daily
    • Folic acid intakedone, take 800 mg
    • Daily vitamindone, three times a day
    • Flossing habits I will, I will, I will be more conscientious about flossing.
    • High BMI...sigh… always the challenge
    • Driving speeds who says I speed, the nerve!
    • Oral hygiene concerns

    • High red meat intake what!
    • Calcium intakedone
    • Vitamin E intakedone
    • Vitamin C intakedone
    • Social network and stress taking B-12, breathing, exercising and meditating, plus pondering going to a church down the hill
    • Strength training level another sigh…
    • massagesI get weekly massages now, maybe this helps with flexibility.
    • drink 8 glasses water daily in progress, slip sometimes

I’ll take the test again and see how old I am. In summary, I should be a flosser, seat belt wearer, vitamin taker, destresser, water drinker, and good sleeper. I have to resume healthy eating habits too. mybestlife worked for about three days. I can try again. Can only do a few things at a time.

I just took the test again and I’m already 35.6. yahoo!

progress so far 2 years ago

Well, I have no caffeine in my life and no bread either (but thats just a lent thing I reckon) I have hardly any red meat any more and am flossing every night! I plan to buy some vitamin E but then again I get it from the avocados and spinach I eat. anyways, slowly but surely getting where I hope to be. YOUGNGER
