I studied a lot over the last few weeks, and out of the last 3 midterms I feel really good about one, feel not-so-good about another, and got 29.5/30 on the third holy poopers that’s awesome! :D It’s worth 30% of my final so unless I totally screw up on the assignments and/or final… I should be on my way to an A!

How I did it: It took a lot of work, honestly. I started off so well, but slacked off for a few weeks in the middle--- big mistake. Doing that made it so much harder in the end. Studying is key. Read how I did it…

Because I had bombed an exam in my biology class [made a 74, mostly because I took it when I had a fever of 101…] there was almost no conceiveable way to make an A in the class-- unless I got 100% on my final exam
Well, just checked my grades online- and VOILA— “A-” in biology! It’s the only grade that has been submitted so far- but all the rest should be A’s as well, since they were before my finals. [though, i kinda sucked on my math exam…]
Granted, it was the first quiz… and it was in spanish… but… seriously. I believe I reserved the right to flip out when the quiz had NOTHING to do with the subject that we were studying. Yeah. So the instructor asks me “why are you making such a big deal about it, it’s just a quiz?” - I care because every point counts and anything less than 100% in an easy course is unacceptable.
So—on to the goal.
My first year of college. Understood to be the easiest I will have, and therefore I will settle for no less that all As. I’d love to hold on to a 4.0GPA through out college and know that I cannot drop below a 3.7 with hopes of being accepted to medical school.
So yes… every point counts!
I’ve managed to flub a quiz in each class, except my Comp 1 class, but that is because we don’t do quizzes, really. We just write. That I can do. Pre-Calc was retarded. I got 100% on the last quiz, but 40% before that. [go for being dyslexic?] Still everything I am taking so far I did in HS, so it shouldn’t be so difficult. It’s been 3 years since I graduated, so I just need to get back into the swing of things.
Here goes nothing…
For the first time, I failed in one of my courses last semester. I want to inrcease my GPA again. So I’ll need at least an A, few Bs, one C, and NO Ds or Fs!
LuxuriousxNoise is excited for Asiaaa.
Last year I had a 4.0 GPA.
And this year I have like 3 Cs, two Bs and one A.
I got an A in PR Writing. I won’t lie, she was an easy grader. But it’s an A!
I was SO surprised to see that I got an A in my Soc Family course! I was sooooo excited and it was such a great feeling to know that I finally accomplished this goal! This only motivates me to keep up the good grades this term!
I used to get A’s all the time in highschool, but I have not gotten one A in university, and I would really like to do that this year! So I’m going to work my butt off and see what happens!
I got the first solid A ever! And it was in a history class (which I count as academic) My grades were ten times better this year and i worked hard so it really did pay off :P
everyone can do it but maaan you gotta put your mind to it.
im actually really not stupid at all but im lazy as fuck, not physically but when it comes to studying…yeah, lazy brain.
i hate it! its such a waste. i need to get serious like NOW.
