Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Rolex1000Got to get back on track!

My first trimester of pregnancy really bogged me down! The fatigue was overwhelming!
But the second trimester seems to be much better! I need to get back on track with my blogging!
Blogged once last week! Now I need to get on this week’s entry! 21 months ago

CeciliaOfficial start

Setting start date as today so I can see how long it takes to really build this up into habit. They say it takes 30 days to make (or break) a habit, but a weekly habit is harder to measure..

The hardest thing is my blog being far less personal. I have trouble finding things to write about. To fight this I’m going to keep a list of topics to pick and choose from when I’m feeling particularly uninspired. 2 years ago

Rolex1000Doing great!

I have blogged almost twice a week since August!
I need to keep the momentum going! I also need to make sure I am blogging about things that are meaningful to me!

Rolex1000Blogging

Isn’t it funny how sometimes you have more material than you know what to do with and other times you can’t think of a topic in the world?

I seem to have lots to say lately, but I’m trying to spread it out so I have a more consistent blogging record. It’s just so hard when I want to publish everything now!

Took a trip to Tahoe this weekend and tried some creative editing with the pics. Check it out and let me know what you think:

Rolex1000Life

I love my blog. It’s a wonderful chronicle of the life my husband and I have together (which is super fabulous)!

So I am going to dedicate more of my time to documenting the little things!
