The new James Bond movie is a lot of fun to see in the theater. Did you know Daniel Craig is the hottest man alive? I was wondering in Vladimir Puttin has ever taken his shirt off, because if he has I will rent the movie in which he is portrayed by Daniel Craig.

I saw Dream Girls last night. I thought it was entertaining. I’ve never been in a theater where everyone clapped in the middle of a film and I guess it makes sense because it would have been the end of act one.

Both of these were big films, the kind I have been most apt to see in the theater. I’d like to see more movies like The Pursuit of Happyness, ones I normally talk my self into waiting to go to DVD.

I reasoned that it was just fine to see most movies at home on DVD. But I’ve gone to the theater randomly a couple of times lately and really enjoyed myself. I’d like to get to at least one show a month, and I’d like to go with someone else because I like to talk during the movie (not a lot, but I like to have someone next to me if I get the over whelming urge to make a comment) and I like to talk about movies. So tonight, baring any major obstacles, I’m going to see Casino Royal. I haven’t ever been able to sit thru a Bond film… but the new Bond is so hot I have to make an exception.

I’m not entirely sure how I’m supposed to reconcile this goal with the goal of saving money, but I’ll do it, darn it! Somehow.

Anyway, I rent movies all the time, but there’s something really different about sitting in a theater. For one thing, you can’t get distracted. And everything’s larger than life, and it’s so much easier to get lost in it when you’re not sitting on a couch with your roommate doing dishes behind you.
