I’m a Library student, and I love the philadelphia public library. It’s awesome! Go there!

but I do feel like I’ve rediscovered the library! I like knowing it’s there when I need it.

how great the library can be! I checked out two books yesterday. I actually found several that looked interesting and had to remind myself that I could always come back and check them out later.

well, I went to the library once, and then ended up keeping the books a few weeks too long, in the end an $8 late fine…......

I have officially gone to the new library and checked out two books and an audio book. I got a great book on skin care, called the Skin Type Solution, written by a dermatologist who recommends products appropriate for each skin type.
It was easy, and I think I will set my next goal to be to check out the online system and figure out how to reserve audio cd’s online so I can get the new releases, etc.
Also, I need to check out some Dostoyevsky to get started on my catching up on the classics…...

I have a card already, I just need to find it…... I haven’t used the library in almost two years. I know if I just go down there, that it will be easy to go at least once a month. I love books on tape/cd!!! And it will help me with my goal of reading more classics!
somewhere. I think it crawled in during a viewing of Explorers, circa 1990.
I’m still(3 days later) excited about the books I took out form the library. I have in my possession: Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, Within the Tides, Strait is the Gate[sic], and All the President’s Men. I’ve tried to make some room for Persuasion, but have been unsuccessful so far. But, today is a new day, and I must retrench.
and had to return about 16 books this weekend, paying a total of $28 on them. I only got to a couple of the histories, and only one or two of the econ. texts. Ugh. I felt most lazy, but I decided to keep my focus a bit more narrow and work on some fiction. So, a little Austen, some Conrad and Gide’s all up in the mix.
