Just got a spot on Lake Washington for my Hobie 18!

I’ve got a spot on a 2 week crew training this summer on a pinnace. If all goes well, I’ll try to springboard from there into volunteering. Eventually I might be able to get an actual paid job if I want one.

I want to get my skippers licance and charter a sail boat in the whitsundays for a few weeks

We were gifted a 26’ Seafarer in the early spring. It took us about 5 weeks to repair and paint. We have been on the water every weekend since May and look forward to keeping her out until late October/early November. Loving it!!

I want to learn to sail and then sail to Australia. Airplanes are ruining everything.

I’ve been on a sailboat once, but I really want to take a trip of at least a week on a sailboat

I forgot to write that I accomplished this. I did get to sail with my friends and had an absolutely amazing day. When I got out on the water I realized just how much I have missed it. I’ve been speaking with a friend about sharing a membership next year at a sailing club. If I do that, I know I’ll get out on the water more regularly next year.
