Worth doing!
I did this and I quit again. But it was worth it. This time I choose to quit and I’m happy with my decision.

This has actually been at the back of my mind since i quit dancing 2 years ago….
I’ve been dancing for 11yrs of my life. i got sick and tired of going to 1half hrs classes 3 days a week and hated how hard ballet was getting.
“point harder!!” “jump higher!!” “double pirouttes!” “en pointe!!”
i got sick of it…........
and just like that, i quit.
and now, i want to undo what i have given up on.
i know exactly what you mean! i had been dancing since i was three, and then my first year of high school everyone thought it was so silly. apparently it was getting in the way of going to parties. the thing is, i got accepted to a really big school before i quit, and now that i’m graduating next year and don’t have any idea what to do with my life…
well, it’s kind of kicking my ass. the one thing i pictured myself doing for the rest of my life – even professionally if i made it that far, i threw away.
figures!
For 13 years of my life, I took ballet classes. I quit after the ninth grade because my boyfriend thought it wasn’t cool, and I was sick of going to class 3 times a week anyway. Now I’m older, I’m going to graduate next year and I’ve come to realize that ballet is cool. It’s cool because I like it, and it’s beautiful… and I know this shouldn’t influence my decision, but… the guy I am about to start dating is encouraging me to do it again. So, I’m going to start this fall, taking class once a week (not three)!
