just thinking about it right now makes me want to. its realy sick, like an addiction.
i have been doing it for like two years now and it only recently (past few months) got severe. people have showed me cool ways to crack other parts of your fingers and now i just cant stop. even if i do like half of my hand and then my boyfriend holds them so i cant finish i freak out cause i just seriously feel like I NEED TO!
he hates it and so does his family. ive been with them for a year and i guess its time they tell me that it bothers the crap out of them, especially at the dinner table.. oops!
so now my boyfriends father and i have a deal, everytime i crack my knuckle/s at the dinner table he will scratch his fork on his plate cause i hate that more than anything haha.
i think im going to try the rubberband thing, cause i tried going cold turkey but it only worked for two days and then i cracked one by accident and it was like insane haha i was really like a crazy person.

The only way I’m going to be able to quit this is to just stop cold turkey. It’ll be hard because it’s such a habit, but I like my hands the way they are, I don’t want arthritis!

I started really cracking my knuckles this year. I did it so much, and I still do. It makes my fingers hurt, and I know it sounds gross, and my knuckles are now huge because of it. I was buying a cheap little ring at the mall, and my mom noticed how big my knuckles are because I have to buy a size 7!! I’ve heard if you stop cracking your knuckles, they shrink back to the normal size.
I think I may try the rubber band thing, but I’m not sure.

It’s been over a year for me…idk if i’ll ever be able to stop. I am so scared lol. I hate doing it, but I do it now unconsciously, I won’t even notice. And I do it when I am stressed a lot.

I’m so frustrated! I need to stop cracking my knuckles anyone have ne ideas?? The only thing I’ve heard so far is the rubber band thing which sounds pretty good but I’m thinking that may not even cure me!!

I started cracking my knuckles and it became a habit before two months had passed. I started wearing one rubber band on each hand. Whenever I cracked my knuckles I would snap the rubber band or ask someone else to. Pretty soon you stop cracking. :)
