I cut my own hair, but it’s sort of a crew cut.
I kneel on the floor.
Bend my head down till its almost touching the floor.
Take my trusty clippers with a #6 end and buzz the back and sides.
The hard part is cutting the back straight across. I have to use two mirrors. One mirror standing in front, one behind that I hold in one hand while holding the clippers in the other hand, carefully clip the back to look nice and neat.
Then finally trim up the bangs a bit.
Takes only about a half an hour to do, and I haven’t paid for a haircut in about three years.
I work isolated oilfield work though for half a year, so I can let it grow sometimes too, not having to worry about appearances while in the middle of nowhere.
