whether or not it’s worth reading is just a matter of opinion, but i have definitely read better classics. also, hemingway, though an interesting author, creates characters that i can’t really take an investment in. and the fact that he writes a five hundred page book about “three days and three nights” says something about the meaningless, dull, overplayed conversations/thoughts in the book. so anyhow. that’s just my opinion, and i’m sure others could find it very interesting.
I’ve read some hemingway before, and this is supposed to be one of his best- the problem is i just keep picking it up and putting it down.
