Made some strong progress on this last weekend. If you are considering this, keep in mind that painting baseboards is EXCITING! It will be exhilarating, make you lose sleep, and distract you from all other responsibilities. It’s so fun that children under the age of sixteen should be required to get parental approval. When all the baseboards in your home have been painted, you will start to feel itchy for the goodtime fun and seek other baseboards to paint. Your neighbors will appreciate the fresh coat of paint but grow weary of your need to change colors again and again. Your family and friends will suffer from neglect. You will lose your job. You will lose your home (the one with the snazzy baseboards that started it all) and you will eventually be a shell of your former self, wandering the streets, begging for a chance, any chance to paint some more baseboards.
The temptations down this road are too much for mere humans. We are not meant to experience this level of esctasy. Go back. Before it is too late.
