If any one chocolatier please let me know what kind of resource we will need.
I was an assistant Manager of a chocolate shop that specialized in hand made Belgian chocolate truffels. And let me tell you: I NEVER got sick of chocolate!
I was one of the best experiances of my life and my love of chocolate has only intensified. I am now hoping to open my own small chocolate shop to introduce others to my sinful addiction!
If anyone has any good shop name ideas, please, HELP ME OUT! I need all the inspiration I can get!
What about A Chocolate Frenzy? For a shop name? I really like it…I need a slogan..
I would like to open a chocolate shop which is full of dark chocolate with Maxican tastes in Taipei city, Taipei. But I do not know how to make it or how to open a store! If there is anyone who shares her/his experience and expertee to me, it would be highly appreciated!!
I want to be a chocolatier..i got the passion the love and the wits..but not the mney..i want to create candy gifts that melt the recipient away….I just love giving people…i want to do somenthing i enjoy….
I know this sounds weird but I can’t cook worth a lick however I have been told more than once in my life that I may not be a good cook but I’m probably better at baking. If that is true I am hoping that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree since my mother was a pastry chef from Switzerland (I use the tense “was” because she passed away when I was young).
Of course having relatives in Switzerland has it’s perks, skiing, hiking, cheese but most importantly… CHOCOLATE!!!! Strangely enough at the age of 25 I (all of a sudden) became lactose intolerant… a huge bummer for a chocoholic until I found that I can still eat dark chocolate (thank goodness). I don’t know where my interest in opening up chocolate store came from (I guess missing a large mounts of sweet calcium from my diet) or maybe it’s just an extension of my mother’s dream.
Opened about 3 1/2 years ago. Everyday is a joy and a challenge.
I’m glad it’s something I have a passion for – makes the rough spots easier to get through. I spend my days infusing, tasting, steeping, tasting, blending, tasting, tempering, tasting, muddling, creating and, oh yes…did I mention tasting? lol
It’s great and I love it! Go for it!
i’ve started telling people about my interest in starting a chocolate shop. i think that it helps put pressure on myself to actually think about it and start doing it.
