pay my parents back

My stipend doesn’t really allow me to spend a whole lot money apart from rent and tuition, but I’m paying my parents back slowly but surely… it might just be $100 at a time and it might take the rest of my life, but at least I’m doing it.

Um…this one will not happen for awhile. The credit cards come first, Mom said so. Once I get my REAL job with a SALARY, this will seem a more attainable goal.

But a gift that expresses my gratitude for everything they taught me and gave me.

I think I’ll save up for a world cruise for them! They’d love it and deserve it

My Mom and Dad are pretty special folk and they made me who I am today. Anytime I’ve been in need they have been there. I doubt I can ever repay the debt I owe them… I can only hope that if they ever are in need of anything, I can step up to the plate and be there for them.

yep, ideally I’d like to pay them the hundreds of thousands of dollars they’ve spent on my education and life in general. I’m seriously so grateful because without them I wouldn’t be what I am today.

I borrowed some money from them to buy a car… I only have roughly $300 more to go so it is not so bad =]

I’m paid off with my parents. Never, ever, borrow money from loved ones. As Dave Ramsey says, ”’The borrow is slave to the lender.’ And when you owe family members money, Thanksgiving dinner just doesn’t taste right.”

I owe them a little bit of money that I’ve paid back half for christmas. After that I will save to pay them back for my college tuition.

I pay mine back by tormenting them every chance I get. They act like little kids STILL to this day! Right now my Daddy is trying to fit furniture in the back of his truck and drive it from New Mexico to California. I told him we could do it but I think he knows what a crappy Dad he was and he is really trying to make up for it. He loves my kids and comes out all the time to see them. I call my mom to make sure she is ok and if she starts to complain too much I put the kids on the phone so she has no choice but to be nice.In the old days if she didn’t like what I had to tell her( my leg hurts-go to the DR./ this apt is too loud- so just move. )she would just hang up on me, like a teenager. I guess my payback is more of a Karma thing ;)
