Just checking this off my list of things to do before I die.

but last night my tv produced a loud pop and a puff of smoke, and then turned into a paperweight. I bought a new TV today; this one is high-def and widescreen, and I can now actually see the picture (I don’t have cable and saw mostly snow, ghosts, and double or triple images). Everything is sharp now.
This is the first tv I have purchased. All of my other tvs have come from the great movement of stuff: friends upgrade their stuff and pass the current stuff off to someone else; if it is better than what I already have I take it and pass on my old stuff.
judkins is working
We got a TV today. Nothing Earth shattering, but it is flat screen. It’s a Sharp, and a floor model; we didn’t spend a lot, but it wasn’t the cheepest. Maybe next to cheepest… but it’s a 27” which is bigger than my last. Any bigger and we’d have to buy a new entertainment center!
One more goal down!! Whoo-hoo!
Panasonic seemed like the top brand as far as tv’s go so I took some of my tax return and dropped $2000 on a new tv. It sure is purdy. Movies and video games look a million times better. I can’t wait for baseball season to start.
yeah. I got a samsung lcd. I honestly have no knowledge of televisions so i just chose what looked nice and what the salesmen at bestbuy said were best. It’s a great picture. I forgot the model and everyhing… so I wouldn’t be able to put up a nice lil picture. Lo siento.
I’m looking at either this one or the similar Samsung model and I’m hoping to have it before the start of baseball season.
Thanks Hodel!
I don’t watch much tv, but it is nice for movies…Bigger sometimes is a little bit better.
I have done pretty good for electronics purchases. I have had the same CD player, TV, VCR, Computer for 5 years. The CD player and VCR still work great. The TV is small, maybe 20 inchs, and it rattles when the sound gets up too high.
My brother moves the chair closer to the TV every time he comes – he is about as subtle as I am.
