I love jeeps. I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee that still looks & runs like new. Last year I bought a ‘75 CJ5 that I was going to attempt to restore. I stripped it completely to the frame, sanded and rust-proofed the frame, and then realized I had gotten myself in way over my head and dropped the project. I should have done my research first – Jeeps before 76 are nearly impossible to find aftermarket parts for. I also did not think about the total investment of time & money involved in doing the kind of restoration I was dreaming about. This time around I think I’ll buy one that is in better condition and does not require a total frame-off restore, because I’ve now realized that’s way beyond my abilities at the present time.

I have wanted a Jeep for a long time. It isn’t really feasible for me to buy a car while I am still in school. I plan on getting one after graduation sometime. I would like to have a Wrangler or an older CJ. I wouldn’t mind having a Commander either. Would be nice as my everyday vehicle.
1974 CJ5, Spring-over lift, 36” swampers…I’m going up to Maine to get her tomorrow. I CAN’T WAIT!! It took so long to get over my other baby getting stolen (in early 2005) – but I’m finally ready….
wanting to get a jeep cherokee, black with the body kit etc…...just have to pay for the wedding, then the house, then the car…..who knows, might get one by the time i’m too old to drive!
I want either a Jeep or a Rover – something that is really for off road, not just a big soccer-mum SUV.
A four door Rubicon with big off road tires, tow wench, cb radio with the big ten foot antennae off the back. hydrolics for rock climbing, system for sound, fire extinguisher, rack of spotlights mounted on top and front. Green. This is what i want.

well, like all of my friends, i wanted either a VW beetle or a mini as my first car, but its all very cliche. i changed my mind and jeep is my dream first car. they are just so freaking cool.
Chrysler settled with me out of court for my Lemon Law case I filed because I had my 2005 Jeep Liberty in the shop 8 times before they finally fixed the problem, which was that it was a piece of crap.
Last week I was driving by a dealer when I saw this 1978 Blue Wyllis Jeep. I stopped by to check it out and absolutely fell in love with it. It took me a week to make up my mind and overcome the fear of exchanging my little confortable car for it, but after some research I’m good to go. Just waiting for the deal to come through and dying to put my hands on it. Will let you people know latter!!!
i just bought a 1999 red jeep wrangler for $7,000!
I LOVE THIS CAR! its amazing, having the top off and your hair blowing in the wind is such a riot!!!
