I had a happy, cool & breezy birthday week with my family, while my kitties stayed home where it’s warm and they’re comfortable. Early in her time on 43Things, New Isabella shared that we know some people in common and that she actually had been to the city where I work (and at that time lived). Some of those entries are gone now since they were originally on 43People, but the memory of our shared connection to John Rigas lives on in my memory. I was just looking back at one of those early interactions and am glad that she’s continued with this site even after the whole Buttongate scandal. Here’s my wishes for her for the coming year:

May you have safe travels filled with fun and adventures, especially to Michigan and Pittsburgh. May the cats in her cat house get along for the most part, and not have cat fights. And may she continue to make needed repairs to the house so that she can finally complete that old goal of selling it. 22 months ago
