believe the compliments that are given to me

We’re not mind-readers, so how are we supposed to know whether a compliment we receive is genuine or just a polite thing to say? We want them to be genuine but it’s hard to believe that.

Sooo….a while back I started writing down all the compliments I receive. (sounds stupid I know)...BUT it really really has helped. It actually makes me feel great when I look back and read them from time to time. Whether it be things like “you have beautiful eyes”, or a guy running my car down in the parking lot to apologize for staring in the store, or my friend telling me that I am the best person she has ever met and I make her want to be brave…makes me feel good….so, if you have confidence problems…start a compliment book….haha that’s my infomercial for the day.
