I think this is a great activity if you just want to relax. I’ve done it at least once or twice. It sure helps on boring road trips.
if it’s a good book it’ll be soo much more enjoyable if you read it all at once instead of small parts over a few weeks. done it with a couple of books actually!
I have done this many times, but the last book I did this with was “Lord Vishnu’s Love Handles: A Spy Novel(Sort of).” It was hilarious! I couldn’t put it down.
I read Wide Sargasso Sea in one day.

I have only done this a couple times in my life that I recall (besides extremely small books): Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Paradise Lost (after waiting ‘til teh last second to write a high school thesis paper, hah!), and just yesterday – Breakfast of Champions. Maybe I’ll try doing it again sometime.
