Chaitea reached goal: Read 50 books in 2009!
I’ve done this, more than once. However, I don’t believe it’s how most books should be read. They should be enjoyed and thought about sometimes which means taking a break from that book at least for a couple hours! I don’t read books this fast anymore, probably takes me 2-3 days sometimes more to read a book. Even the easy quick fun reads, I like to cherish the books I read. They give me the relaxation that I need. It’s not race people.

I plan on reading “Only in your dreams: Gossip girl” which i have only read the first 15 pages of today. However. tonight I am not too sleepy and those books are a fast read so I think I could manage it.

I think this is a great activity if you just want to relax. I’ve done it at least once or twice. It sure helps on boring road trips.

if it’s a good book it’ll be soo much more enjoyable if you read it all at once instead of small parts over a few weeks. done it with a couple of books actually!

I have done this many times, but the last book I did this with was “Lord Vishnu’s Love Handles: A Spy Novel(Sort of).” It was hilarious! I couldn’t put it down.

jrbowman is excited to be back on 43things
It was Animal Farm, which was really small so I don’t know if that counts

I have only done this a couple times in my life that I recall (besides extremely small books): Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Paradise Lost (after waiting ‘til teh last second to write a high school thesis paper, hah!), and just yesterday – Breakfast of Champions. Maybe I’ll try doing it again sometime.
