How to read a book in a day
It made me
happy
 "Exciting though painful after sitting for so long!"
How I did it: The book I read in one day was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It came out July 21 and the next day was my birthday. My uncle was coming over on the 21 so I had to read it all before he came or else I would be very anxious as to how it ended! Coincidentally, I work in a bookstore thus I spent the morning selling Harry Potter 7. I got home at noon and I read until my uncle came later that night. If I recall correctly, I only had 100 or so pages to go so when I went to bed I read the rest of it before I went to sleep. Lessons & tips: Find a very comfortable place to sit! |

Mine was "The Tale of Desperaux" by Kate DiCamillo, the before-movie version :) I had been wanting to read this book ever since I saw the movie trailer and was definitely surprised. I plan on reading “Only in your dreams: Gossip girl” which i have only read the first 15 pages of today. However. tonight I am not too sleepy and those books are a fast read so I think I could manage it.

I think this is a great activity if you just want to relax. I’ve done it at least once or twice. It sure helps on boring road trips.

I have done this many times, but the last book I did this with was “Lord Vishnu’s Love Handles: A Spy Novel(Sort of).” It was hilarious! I couldn’t put it down.

I have only done this a couple times in my life that I recall (besides extremely small books): Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Paradise Lost (after waiting ‘til teh last second to write a high school thesis paper, hah!), and just yesterday – Breakfast of Champions. Maybe I’ll try doing it again sometime.
