speak up more often

Dude I did this and it unintentionally upset the other pereson. Okay, so I mixed in ‘speaking up’ with voicing an annoyance. She said it came off confrontational and I think she was being defensive. In my own defense ( =p ), I feel I am not the only one who would perceive her as having been defensive. And the fact that she was offended because she was surprised that I was talking as I did shows how infrequently I talk like that.

I think leaving things unsaid for a long time just create that potential for a ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’ trigger to present itself.

All the more reason I am supposed to speak up more often.
But in a more diplomatic way mayhaps
