I need the $25 joining fee, plus the $39 a month, and right now I’m flat broke. So I need to wait at the very very soonest until Saturday. But, the Y will close from the 4th to the 10th, so I might as well wait till the 11th to join. To be achieved later.
My boyfriend and I have officially joined our local YMJA! The woman at the desk even counted us as a “family” for our initiation fees, since we were joining together.
Now I just need to get up the nerve to show up… They give us a free session with a trainer, so we need to both call and get appointments to learn to use the machines. They do have Pilates classes twice a week, and there’s one on Monday. I may do that, even without the trainer’s appointment…
julia2 is wondering what to do next.
well, I was tempted. they even offered a discount for teachers… made me more tempted. but, I keep hearing that it’s crazy busy at the times I would go. giving up for now, looking for other workout options

I’m asking around. My neice said it was way too crowded for them. Sheri said the locker room isn’t as nice as the gym she goes to. but Kathi loves it- she goes at 5:30 am to swim- I don’t think I can do that, I am NOT a morning person.
I love the eliptical machine. But I’ve been very depressed and don’t want to do anything. HMmmmmm maybe exercise would help. lol
no more OW swimming…i suppose
beginning of Oct i’m going to get my new membership card.
