I thought that I found my vocation when I became a full-time Social Studies teacher at a Catholic school. Private schools are MUCH BETTER than public schools, in my humble opinion. But at the same time, I realized that I can’t stand kids! Especially junior high school kids. When they’re obnoxious, they’re really obnoxious!
I’m currently taking a Paralegal Studies program at a local vocational college. And, I can be done with that in less than a year. I’ve always liked watching cops shows, like “Law & Order”. And I’ve always wondered how I could get involved in working for the criminal justice system. I don’t have the personality or the physical attributes to be a cop, and I’m not sure if I want to bash my brains with even more schooling to become a lawyer. But, being a paralegal is a good middle ground because of my interest and aptitude toward research.
But, we’ll see. After I “serve my time” teaching/babysitting brats, I’ll be ready to step into the “Law & Order” world. First step, would be to secure an internship with either a local D.A.’s office or court system.

I’m a Mexican 18- year- old girl, who is studying english in USA. My hobbies are these: Take pictures to nature and family, make photomontage with the pictures, I enjoy cooking desserts, I like to use the computer, read classical music, the mathematics, enjoy the nature, I hate being in crowed places, and I really love enjoying the nature, the tranquility (that I could not have in this moment). And my dream is to travel around the world, and know different places, and people, customs, etc.

You know, I think I’ve found it. Everything is going far too smoothly for this not to be the right thing to be doing. Even to the extent that I decided I needed a particular lens for my continued work – then my pension company floated on the stock market and I am about to receive a cash windfall of … exactly the price of the lens.
I don’t believe in God or fate, but someone, somewhere in the laws of probability is looking after me and giving me signs that it’s the right thing to do…

This is funny… I’m still not quite sure what my vocation is, but all the steps towards being able to carry it out are going swimmingly :)

I can feel it coming. I had a bit of an epiphany at lunch-time, hence clearing out my goals for some proper, sensible, life-improving things.

Looks like I need to hurry up on this one… I’ve just been shown some amazing new technology which means that 98% of my company will be redundant soon.
Now I know how the Luddites felt.
