Atule thinking of how to improve on my finances
love to share the word with friends that value christ
I desire to become more grounded in the word of God. Being able to help beyond the church doors in my community and help my family members also. The work for christians is not inside of the church,(I believe) but outside where the lost souls are mostly at, I say mostly because there are people in church that is lost as well. I do not just want to be a speaker of God’s word, but also a active person of his word. Knowing more about what he wants for our lives is important to me and knowlegde is the key and power to grow.
Dear Lord, I just saw this in my list and now I feel REALLY bad. Eeeeep…. :(
Does anyone out there have any advice as to how I can get into the habit? What works for you?

I am reading through a 365 study bible. It is a great study tool.
Greetings!
To me, studying the Bible means knowing God’s Word and really having practical application. One of my favorite sites is http://www.SermonAudio.com
They have over 100,000 MP3 sermons ALL FOR FREE!!!
You can listen and download to your heart’s delight, all day long, as much as you want. Put ‘em on your MP3 Player, burn them to CDR or just listen at your desk. What a blessing!
God Bless!!

I’ve been enjoying podcasts in MP3 downloads, and I finally downloaded the free iTunes software so I can enjoy more podcasts.
I found the Daily Audio Bible which is a FREE podcast on iTunes. Here’s the website:

They alternate between translations each week. It’s worth a listen to.

Here’s a simple daily reminder to read your scriptures. You can the RSS feed from Bible Gateway’s Verse of the Day to your feeds in 43People.com, Yahoo 360, or whereever you have feeds. (Yahoo 360 is buggy, and it may take several attempts. I tried for over a week, and then it just took it.)
Bible Gateway is great because you can search the Bible in over 50 translations and 35 languages. They now have reading plans to help you keep up with your daily study.

To add the verse of the day to your feeds, scroll down to “Bible Gateway’s Verse of the Day” and right click on the orange box that says “RSS2.0.” Copy the shortcut and paste it into your feeds. Or, the link is below.

My children have just introduced me to myspace.com, and I found a blog with daily readings from Tyndale’s One Year Bible.
It’s called One Year Bible at http://www.myspace.com/oneyearbible
Here’s what they have to say:
“Want to read through the entire Bible in one year? We’d like to encourage you to join us!”
“You are invited to join us in reading the Bible for 15 minutes each day. We will be following the One Year Bible plan with a daily reading from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms Proverbs. You can use your own Bible, pick up a Tyndale One Year Bible, or you can easily read online with the daily Blogs on this page.”
You can also join the One Year Bible Group at http://groups.myspace.com/oneyearbible
