and it all tasted better because we dropped the kids off at my brother’s house, went shopping with just the two of us, picked out the meal ourselves and came home and prepared it together. We even grabbed a quickie while the meat (he had steak) was on the grill. The ones who are married and have young children will appreciate how special that was. LOL! We were so due some laughter and some time with no stress and no distractions! I can’t remember a better dinner or a more pleasant time. Now to get back to it. It’s close to nine and I don’t want to waste a moment. Just had to get it down.

It was like the honey-moon we never had. My brother called Friday and asked for the kids. We went out for sushi, went over to some friends house, laughed our butts off, came home and had well, a wonderful time at home as well! Saturday we went to the herbal festival in Sand Springs and found some wonderful deals for my herb garden. We got the kids that afternoon and took them out to eat(which we hardly ever do), to the dollar store with $7.00 each and came home to have a wonderful family night with our kids. It was a well needed and lovely time.

We’ve been together for 10 years. He has commented lately that he has felt more loved lately! There is a higher level of intimacy then normal. So glad I adopted this goal!
