there is a swimming hole south of here in a town called Balmorhea. i’ll have to wait till summer but really want to go there
How to swim in a swimming hole

"Looking at the waterfall, you couldn't not want to jump right in"
How I did it: Taking a hike in the Eungella National Park, we came across a waterfall cascading into several small swimming holes. I am deathly afraid of snakes and knowing that they lived here almost kept me on the rock shores. It was so hot that I had to jump in and get wet and ended up having an awesome time riding the current from pool to pool with DH!
Lessons & tips: Don't let fear stop you from doing anything!
