visit 12 old master paintings and write from them

I felt really happy about this project. I feel proud of what I’ve done, and proud that for once, I’ve set out to do something and completed it. See the results here

The last entries are now written. I’m going to publish on 2 May, 2007.

Following a visit to the National Gallery, I have written two pieces—which I will leave for a few days and then polish up.

I have also started a blog on which to publish them - 12 Old Masters (there’s nothing there yet - I’ll report back when I’ve published.) I also need to invite Sharas to join this blog.

I was going to email the National Gallery and ask them if they will let me put the pictures on the blog—if not, I can put links to the pictures instead.

I have also read up about Old Masters and what they are in Wikipedia—I am not convinced that the two paintings I have picked are technically Old Masters as the artists aren’t on that list.

The National Portrait Gallery is open late on Thursdays and Fridays. Before the end of July, I am going to make my way there after work, chuse two pictures and write from them.
