go skiing once a year

So I finally got a chance to go skiing west of the Mississippi. To top it off, while most of the country was in the negatives, I was skiing in 55 degree weather which is new to me. I am used to the sub-20 degree days where I ski twice and then hit the fireplace and hot chocolate for 45 min! ha! It was wonderful… a bit expensive but I’d like to do it again sometime this spring!

I can’t believe I posted the entry one year ago! It looks like it will finally happen. For one reason or another last yr just didn’t work out. I have plans this weekend to go to Big Bear and possibly up to Lake Tahoe in mid-Feb. I know people out here like to go later in early Spring so maybe I’ll have a couple more opps. I have friends in Denver, and even though I was there for NYE, I didn’t get a chance to go skiing so there is that possibility this Spring as well! ;)

Now that I am living out West, I have easier access to a lot of ski resorts. I am not a huge skiier but I enjoy going skiing at least one a year. Too often, it takes a back seat to other plans and I don’t end up doing it so this is my goal to make sure I hit the slopes AT LEAST once a year!
