My diet is high in fiber, I cut out the fried stuff and practically have eliminated fast food. I run almost every day and work out quite a bit. This is an ongoing goal because there are times where I slack and crave “bad” things like pies! 4 years ago

I can’t believe I last had an entry a yr ago! Makes you think… I mean, if I read that and realize I didn’t do anything to improve then I’m already 1 yr behind and I’ve done nothing to grow. The fact is that my healthy eating drops off a bit in the winter. I did well through Jan and then it slipped! I did manage to keep working out like normal and lately I have gotten back into my good eating habits and working out quite a bit. As the weather gets warmer, I’ll be more active but I am quite happy with my physique and endurance compared to many yrs ago when I spent the whole summer trying to get to where I was the yr before! 6 years ago

I have been making a conscious effort to get away from some of the junk I eat! I mean, I have a total addiction to chocolate. However, I know that once I get on my kick, I lose the craving. So I have been doing well easing into my high fiber/high protein diet and working out. I played soccer for 3 hours after work last night and itching to blade, run, or workout today. That’s a good sign b/c sometimes I don’t feel like doing anything! 7 years ago

I want to make sure I keep eating healthy and always being stimulated. Ya, can’t say I am the biggest fan of some veggies and I don’t plan on falling off the “deep end” but I want to do just enough to stay healthy. The motivation is simple: if you have ever tried to not eat crap food for a while and worked out while eating “healthy” food, you know that your body, your mind, and everything about you feels so much better. It’s crazy to believe “you are what you eat” but everytime I really focus on getting away from sweets (my junk), I feel a thousand times better (even though I have to sneak a chocalate in here and there!). 7 years ago
