I’d love to try some Rose Green tea. It calls for 30 rosebuds, a specific type of green tea (but I’m sure any type would be fine,) and hot water. I’d add some honey and/or ginseng and try to make something throat-soothing and energy-reviving. My status now reads my current situation. I have symptoms of both (more of Lyme than Mono, but my school nurse called home wanting me to get checked for it.) Not fun. Something soothing and sweet would be nice on my throat.

My step mom used to do this all the time. Then again, she’s a trained herbologist. I definitely know my way around herbal medicines, but I’d like to become more familiar with wild foraging. I know that St. John’s Wart grows wild around here, so I’ve got to keep an eye out for that.

sans tea 3 years ago

well, i told my BF that i am on 43things and he scouted out my page. so i figured it was about time to get back on and see what i had listed here, do some online housekeeping and see if i want to get back in the swing of things on 43T.

oh yeah – tea. i have some other stuff i want to persue so i think this is way way back burner. if some loose tea jumps up and bites me in the ass, i wont look the other way. but for now im not actively persuing this goal.

cheers!

proving more difficult than i thought... 3 years ago

i pictured myself roaming the hillsides collecting plants and flowers and placing them in a wicker basket over my arm.
...my hair had finally grown long and i looked smashing in my gingham dress.
...sigh not the is not the case. and it is proving difficult to even find “raw” ingredient recipes on the web.

any ideas? help? :)

i think it would be neat to go hunting for tea ingredients. im going to look online for tea ‘recipes’. im guessing you can buy tea bags or use a tea ball to steep the stuff.
