see a sunrise in the east and a sunset in the west in one day

I need to do this before I leave Florida.

I woke up early, finished cleaning out my dorm room, turned my keys in and took off for JFK.

Flew home to San Fran, and watched the sun set in the BEST CITY IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

That sun set on a rough year.

Well, as I mentioned on my comment, without realizing it I had already accomplished this almost 2 years ago. I really thought it would be cool to do it in Florida’s east and west coasts, but missed my opportunity this past Sunday.

It will have to be some other time for Florida as I will be moving to California in a week. Cheers!

I can’t believe that after 12 years of living in Orlando, I haven’t done this! I’ve always wanted to, but never put forth the effort. Maybe because I’d like to do this with someone who also shares the same desire. In any case, I will do this within the next 3 weeks :)

See the sun rise in Daytona and set in St Petersburg.

I went to Clearwater during spring break and the sunset at Pier 60 was awesome. I’m thinking that in a week or two I’ll head over to Cocoa for the sunrise and then back to Clearwater for the sunset.

I have a few friends who have done this, but I have yet to do it.

It’s such a great idea too. Maybe, by adding it, I’ll do it.
