What is better than joining in such a goal? Recruiting for the goal. And the combination of this goal along with the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and a time for bringing new energy into the world, what better motivation for not just joining the goal, but fulfilling it as well…

With a hectic holiday work schedule, and several side jobs, time with a partner has been sparse, and so have orgasms. But the day ended early yesterday and I went home and dressed things up. Lacking rose petals for the staircase, I scattered Hersey’s kisses leading in a trail to the bedroom where I lit candles, stoked some sultry incense, and played some low, thrumming, erotic music. Showered, shaved, all parts cleaned, I slid under the clean sheets to await her. And promptly fell dead asleep.

I was awakened by chocolate-scented kisses around my face and neck and hands dipping beneath the sheets. Very soon we were participating in the goal with great enthusiasm and energy.

I have discovered over the years that with orgasms, quality is preferrable over quantity, and in fact, attention to quality often leads to quantity, covering all bases. We spent an hour or so slowly letting the fires build, shaking the bed with a series of minor tremors. We took a short break for a dinner of grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, sweet red wine and Hershey’s kisses (don’t judge me!) before resuming our celebrations on the living room sofa. After a short, sweaty respite, we went back upstairs on trembling legs and raised the Richter scale by a factor of 10. I’m quite sure the Earth shuddered just a little.

I cannot speak for her, but I tried to focus and direct my own orgasms into streams of positive and beneficial energies. While I think she was going for an orgasm of global proportions, I was trying to punch a hole in the long night I have been going through lately. Afterward we participated in Global Cuddling Day and talked about what to do with the rest of the year. Hopefully some of this good energy and passion will abide with us even as it goes out into the world to do go things.

Well! I cannot believe I’ve been wandering around not knowing that biannually there are millions of people, beavering away, together and apart, focusing on bringing off world peace. And I haven’t been doing my bit.

I’m not sure entirely how multiple orgasms (or the orgasms of multiple people) will affect the world; perhaps the hope is that at least one orgasm is so earth shattering that it will tilt the world on its axis and so change everything?
