we are thinking the local Montessori school so far. It looks fabulous and is a wonderful continuation of all the learning we’ve done at home. I don’t want him to go to a place where all they do is recess, naps, and arts and crafts. Although arts and crafts are lovely, but shouldn’t be the most educational portion of the day. The Montessori does a lot of the stuff I’ve been doing with my children between 0-3 years, but with much more resources. Putting my son in a classroom will give him the social cooperation he’s lacking and give me time to not only pursue my own goals-like finish school-but to also dedicate the same amount of time to my daughter that I dedicated to my son these last 3 years. I’ll check out other local preschools, but I’m getting the feeling that Montessori is going to be my best bet. 20 months ago
