How I did it: I used eastern ink and glasspaint. I love to work with glass paint because it gives beautiful transparent colors. Also not did I just copy a bit of his artwork. I also improvised some of my own in it. I followed my feelings, my gut. Which really works the best for me. After that I glued it against some wood so it would be flat and come out right. I did this with paint medium. I can advise this because that way you can make sure the painting will not be damaged by a different ph. Read how I did it… 7 months ago

This is Yoshitaka Amano. A brilliant Japanese illustrator. Worked on Vampire Hunter D, Final Fantasy, Shinjuku ( I own that). His illustrations are mainly made of ink and aquarel. He really has his own style and I’d love to learn how to make such beautiful illustrations/paintings. 20 months ago
