A little hard to see, but there are buds starting on all of the trees. 13 months ago
Just a little over a week later and you can start to see the green of new leaves. 13 months ago
At this point we’ve actually had so much rain and dampness that everything is growing moss. 15 months ago
Lots of rain and flooding. Outside of this wooden bridge, everything is under about six inches of standing water. 15 months ago
A weird week where it snowed/rained on and off every day. This happened to be a rain day so it’s dissolving the snow :( 15 months ago
Continuing with out weird weather fluctuations, here’s the past last week with no snow. 17 months ago
Later during week eighteen we finally had our first snow. So, I went back to the trail to take pictures and was visited by tons of feathered friends :)

I’m a few weeks behind on posting as my laptop’s bitten the dust, but here’s week sixteen- beautiful blue skies and warm even though it was January 7th. 17 months ago
Z was actually good enough to go take this picture for me because I was too busy between work and holiday prep. 17 months ago
Z and I stopped after my testing yesterday. Quite a few birds came to be fed, but, as we didn’t come from home, we didn’t have any seed. Will have to do better by them next week! 18 months ago
The park’s looking pretty barren now- almost ready for winter:

Finding these was a nice surprise though:

A gorgeous sunny day, and the color of the leaves was fantastic.

What a difference one week of frosts makes!
What was nice is that while I was there I had a visitor:

Finally raining again .. Real flood! It’s so much fun! I love that smell of the rain, after so much time … just take a deep breath and smell the clean, fresh smell of the rain.

Probably one of the nicest photos of the series so far (I think) because you can see the second round of the leaves changing. I also seem to have a knack for catching sun stream photos! (Or maybe it’s just easy to take nice pictures when you have a beautiful place to work with…)

Over the weekend, it was cold, windy and it poured constantly for close to three days. Today, we’ve been having 50mph wind gusts so, as you can see from the picture, many of the leaves have come down. It feels like the blustery day in Winnie the Pooh!
Honestly, that’s a good thing because if the leaves aren’t off the trees by the time the snow starts we’re going to have a LOT of damage.
Here’s a shot from inside the trail:
It’s funny because when I looked to the left it was clear blue sky and sunny, and on the right was a massive front of black clouds moving in. (You can see it a little bit through the trees.) 20 months ago
Here’s week five’s photo. I also thought this picture was pretty cool:

It’s a tree outside of the nature trail, and I thought it looked just like a lit match! 20 months ago
A gorgeous sunny day, with beautiful foliage.
Here’s a bonus shot that I took:

Same spot, week two. You can already see the leaves starting to change! 20 months ago
