stop letting my laundry pile up

I’ve done two things to my laundry under control. The first is doing one load of laundry a day, every day. The second is kicking my husband out. Now he can do his own laundry. 3 years ago

Right before I found out I was expecting my first child, I told my sister I would never be able to handle having a baby because I could hardly keep up with the laundry me and my husband have (and he does laundry too). And I was right. My son is two months old and laundry is piled everywhere. We reached the point that we were doing a load of clothes for what we needed to wear the next day.

However, I got a start today with reaching my goal. I’ve done one complete load and I have a load in the washer and one in the dryer. I’m hoping to get another load in the wash before I go to bed tonight. If I work hard, I think I can get caught up by Tuesday or so. The challenge will be keeping it caught up. 4 years ago

I like to do my laundry fairly often. I find the key is to have only a few of one category of clothing that you wear often (like underwear). That necessitates that you do laundry more often than you might normally. Well, either that or you go commando. 5 years ago
