paint my nails

I wear clear nail polish. But I’d love to wear some colour.

I’m not allowed to wear colored nail polish at my job. I need a good neutral color that isn’t ugly.

I thought about painting them black (so when my manager says ‘no colored nail polish’ I would be all like ‘dude, black is a shade, not a color’) but it wasn’t worth the trouble.

I’ve just arrive from the beauty place. I cut the destroyed ends of my hair and get manicure and pedicure. I don’t remember the last time I took care of my nails, I’m sure it’s more than 3 years ago. The brazilian girls has the habit of do manicure/pedicure once a week, so you can imagine how I’m strange with this hands here.
Today I’ll go to a great friend’s weeding. It’s the first time some of my best friends marry and I can wait for this time. Sure I’d like to be beauty there. In this recent job, I have to do healthcare machines maintainence, it’s have to keep some girly habits, so it’s seeming so different to me have these hands with this delicated aspects.

I painted them with bright red. Cute.

believe me, when you’re sick and stuck at home, painting your nails can be much fun. even if it doesn’t look 100%!

but it’s the first time in years I’ve had nails to paint but I’m thinking of it as a reward I earned.

So I finally got around to painting my nails. Yeah, it’s 4:22am but whatever.

well color chipped all off – another thing I should be doing is taking the polish off when it starts to chip.

So now I am back to starting with a clear coat. At least it’s something.

A shimmery light pink color. And I was able to keep still long enough for it to dry :) But that is just the first coat…definately needs another one. So that is what I’ll do sometime tomorrow.
