I would really have to overcome the fear of deep water, maybe someday I’ll swim with the fishes
my_new_life is bored at work.
How I did it: Got certified through Sports Chalet. It took 2 weeks and cost about $400.If you're considering getting certified, do it! It's very surreal and pretty scary the first time you go down in the ocean. You'll love it. Read how I did it…

This goal is something that really isn’t like me. Water kind of scares me. But I know it would be beautiful, so it’s on the list.
Underwater world attract me.I am certified scuba diver. I have not get any break from my work for a long time.I am looking for good scuba package and free time.
was the main thought going through my mind in every phase of the process. It was so worth it though. I kept thinking that I would have to turn around and give up, but I made it and had a great time. I took the certification class during my vacation and it made my vacation so much more memorable. :) I have to say that I can’t wait to go diving again.

I think going scuba diving would make my 12 years all worthwhile… :). I take to water like a fish, and the idea of swimming and breathing underwater just intrigues me. I think it would be a beautiful sight underwater, as well.
Does anyone know the average cost of scuba lessons?
Also, does anyone know any good lessons that are available to kids?
Thanks! -Spike
I met an interesting guy today, who had started his own diving company several years back. He told me about some of the places that he went diving and it sounds so fascinating. I can’t wait to get started on this. Maybe, I should start looking up places where I could get certified. :)
all of it entirely memorable!! I remember scallops swimming backwards, someone holding on to a rays tail for a ride, someone breaking the rules and smashing open a kina so the fish would crowd us. The colours all fading out the deeper we got – then shining a torch on the underwater world and being so surprised at the myriad of rainbow colours visible!
Coral reefs, tropical fish, 100 ft. plus visibility, WW II planes and ships. I learned while stationed in Okinawa, Japan in the Air Force. I haven’t been diving for a while ‘cause everything is depressing after the place I learned in.
I want learn to scuba dive so I can see those slave ships,( if divers are allowed to go that deep and if they are still around). I live in Atlanta and went to the YMCA for lessons since I know how to swim but, no one called me back. But I am so ready to take classes!
