have my haircut more often

Last time i was at the hair dressers the guy that cuts my hair said anytime I need just go back and they can trim the fringe (bangs) to keep it looking great. Today, I was fed up of sweeping my hair from eyes so I went back to test the offer!

Woohooo – he was telling the truth!

I was stopped in the street today by what looked to be a saleswoman. Usually I get annoyed and pass on by. Today, I stopped partly because I thought she was lost and asking directions, partly just felt like a chat with someone!

Anyway, She was selling what seems to be a good offer. £55 for the following at a salon I used to go to but stopped as it was rather expensive! i phoned the salon to check it wasn’t a con – you never know these days. All was fine so I went for it. It’s my birthday today so I decided it could be a birthday present to myself.

So I went back to the hairdressers – I suppose its now my regular. I always book to see the same man. He is the guy who owns the shop so I hope he is talented!

He did basically a trim but gave me a more prominent fringe – I quite like it. when my hair is curly it does look a little rogue-ish… But I like to be a little wayward from time to time :-)

Its a vintage hair salon. It looks amazing! It might even be enough to spur me on and get to it.

On Friday I went to the hairdressers again for my second appointment of the year. It went okay. He cut it much the same as last time. Its nothing special – doesnt look too much different to be honest. But its fine. Have booked for 17th of April.

During 2009 I aim to have my hair cut as recommended every 6 weeks.

January 16th – Went to a hair dressers I’d never been to before. The owner cut my hair today and it was joy to let him work. he cut a boring bob into a style of wonder! I havent got my camera to hand but when I get it I will post a pic to remind myself. Note to self… research the downfall of Narcissus(!)
