But we weren’t able to kiss. :-( Maybe next time . . .

When I used to travel a lot for work, I spent quite a bit of time in airports and would see couples kissing, for either goodbyes or hellos. I was never able to experience this myself. If this happens, it means more than just the kiss – it means that I’m with someone who I care about and cares enough about me to either see me off or greet me at the airport.
Baggage claim was mostly empty. I was checking my text inbox and a pair of hands covered my eyes. We kissed in the parking garage, too. And while we were paying for parking. And at every red light on the way back to the dorms. It was cute.
I’m starting to wonder whether or not I’m going to be able to overcome my inhibitions. I haven’t seen my boyfriend in months, and I really want to run up to him, jump on him, wrap my legs around his waist and give him a huge kiss. But I don’t want anyone to see. Which is a little impossible, given the location.
So…I don’t know if I’ll overcome this or not. I’m an incredibly shy person, and I don’t want to make a scene.
I guess I’ll figure it all out on Monday. :]
My boyfriend is picking me up from the airport in January when I fly back to school. He’s not big on PDAs, so I was kind of teasing him that he was going to have to wait two hours before he could kiss me. (My school is two hours from the airport.) He retorted with, “Of course I’m going to kiss you at the airport,” so now all I have to do is wait.
“Love actually”—especially the closing scene as the credits begin to roll…
Des is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
...in the arrivals section, not the departures section.
