Without any prompting, Mr 12 bought a teacher a box of chocolates to say thanks for his support this year.
The teacher had returned from retirement to help out the school.
The teacher said this was one of the nicest things that had ever happened.
I was thrilled that Mr 12 made such a positive difference in his life – I am a proud father.

I felt good when Miss 18 asked me to dye her hair a dark brown.
The glove split without me noticing & my right hand is now a dark brown despite trying my best to scrub the dye off

Mr 12 upgraded his fish tank today so Jimi & Hendrix would have more room to play. He seemed confident talking to the sales people & did a great job sorting out the new tank & cleaning out the old tank.
Watching the fish is hypnotising…

Ibrahim Hamdi Being rich is not about how much you posses but how little you do
I am a firm believer in learning lots of skills for myself (eg public speaking – which requires LOTS of confidence).
My own radio shows helped me gain confidence in front of an audience.
I want my kids to have this skill so I devise a radio show and made them co- presenters (other kids were invited to present).
I was one of two guest (adult) presenters.
I think this helped them a lot.

Last year I took this video of my son on his first roller coaster. Yesterday he asked whether I’d put it on YouTube.

The Big Think

My 11 year old attended an event like www.ted.com with me tonight.
He said he enjoyed it, listening to experts discuss algae biofuel, manuka honey, wave power, going green, a chef, a business expert and a carbon neutral wine maker.
He says he’s keen to go to the next one.

I helped my 15 y/o son prepare a CV for a new role he is wanting to save money to go to farm school. (although we will help him we believe its important that he understands the value of the investment by earning money towards it).
We brainstormed his positive attributes which left him feeling great.

Sometimes I find it a drag getting up early & dropping the kids at their weekend jobs.
Today I changed my thinking & gave my 19 y/o daughter some positive feedback & told her I was really proud of her which she really appreciated.

My 15 year old son wanted to learn to make sausages & a butcher showed him what to do. From then on he showed up every week to learn about butchery.
Today he signed an employment contract to start being paid to do what he is enjoying – the way work should be!
