How to make my own web page by verbalfire

"Who needs a web page these days? If I was selling or promoting something, maybe. "

How I did it: I clicked on iweb, followed the instructions, and then sat back and wondered why I ever wanted a page to begin with.  

It took me a couple of years to get started, but only  about 5 minutes to finish. 
I'm glad I didn't pay money for an address, then go to a lot of trouble making a site.  Maybe one of my things should be to find something I need a website for.  Any suggestions?

    Now I just need to publish 4 days ago

    I have a mac now, and making a web page took about 5 minutes. A bit of a let down to realize that I don’t have any reason to have a web page. There are so many places to keep photos and music and to chat and e-mail that it seems unnecessary.

    getting a little help 2 years ago

    finally pulled out my HTML book from a college class i took a while back and my father gave me a mini tutorial on Frontpage. He has also comissioned me to help with his own website as practice. I am slowly getting the skills that I need for my own webpage and it makes me excited.

    I’m ready to start. I’m looking for a host that doesn’t cost much. Also, I think I may want to make two sites: one for my personal crap, and one for work. I would like to use the work site as a resume/promotion for myself and the restaurant I work for. It will have links to all the print, internet, and broadcast promos I’ve done.
