Almost time for the plunge. Temps are running around 10 degrees. I’m getting nervous. Gotta go buy my costume today. We are wearing baby blue tee, black bike shorts, feathery white wings and halos.

Polar Plunge is just a little more than 3 weeks away. Of course, I WOULD decide to do this the year Alaska is having record-setting cold temps. Last week it was 20 below.

and a group of us from my women’s adventure team decided to do it together. Organizers have to chop a hole in the ice on the lake for participants to jump into. =) Temps will be around zero! Medics stand by. Just in case.
