learn to play drumset

Therefore, I am counting this as done! Though I really want to own a drum set so I can practice this summer. I asm continuing lessons next semester. Perhaps we can continue with this and move on to hand drumming/STEEL DRUMS!!!

Just started on Friday. My feet are pretty dumb right now, but my percussion teacher said I had pretty good initial coordination. So that’s good!

Playing an instrument with all four limbs is like patting your head and rubbing your tummy, times 1345245234123452. Takes alot of brain power at first. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it though!

My percussion professor said we could start drumset next week! We’ve already gotten through keyboard stuff, snare, and timpani (all of which rocked). But next week will be the one I’ve been waiting for all semester! Hooray!

I am taking percussion lessons this semester. We’re starting with snare drum rudiments, and then we’ll probly play some with the drumset, mallet stuff, and timpani.

Anyway it’s so much fun! I love drags!!! They are so satisfying. Like a bowl of oats.
