Part of me wishes I would have waited to start this series until all of the books had been written and published.
I enjoyed this segment of the series, and now I’ll just have to wait to finish it out. 4 months ago
I read the first part of it and then listened to the bulk of it while driving this week to and from the family Christmas visit. This afternoon I finished reading the end of it.
This is a spin-off of the Harvath series that tells the story of the female team (code named Athena) and the assignments in various areas in Europe, to bring down the bad guys who are teleporting bombs. (Bleeding into a little sci-fi.) 4 months ago
Awesome book. I also watched the 2008 movie with Ian McKellen, spot. on. 5 months ago
The author got in trouble for fabrication, plagiarism of others, self-plagiarism (recycling older work), and playing fast and loose with the evidence. The book was pulled by the publisher this summer when this was revealed. It received a tremendous amount of hype prior to its release.
I am very interested in creativity and that’s what this book is about, so I decided to borrow this from a colleague and read it. There are two major things that I found very interesting:The Adventures of an Accidental Prison Librarian

“the alchemist by paulo coelho”... and i have fallen in love with the story and the messages. i am half way through it.
this is the first paulo coelho book i have read. but i always came across some of his quotes from his various books, and have always found comfort in his words, so it has been enjoyable reading this book and to see some of the lines i know so well come up. really enjoying the story, and this book is living up to what i have heard about it.
i plan to read his other books in future.
also on a side note: i feel not so in a great place overall so hopefully his words will help. 6 months ago
