You need to start exercise on a regular basis. It will take a while for you to feel results, but it is so worth it! For me it took about 4 months to get into a good exercise-routine and feel the results. I went from depressed and tired to alert and happy. I would not have needed my antidepressants if I started this a long time ago.
Get started, get moving! :-)

I was working alot and on the last day of my TOO MUCH WORK time, I was incredibly tired. I was almost through my shift when I finally woke up.
Now that I’ve been able to sleep abit, I feel alot more awake! It’s great!
I just have to figure out how to apply this when I go back to work…:/

Chris has done nothing this year. :(
Yesterday I slept for 19 hours straight, due to my all-nighter the day before. I wouldn’t mind but I don’t think I was doing anything in particular that would warrant staying up rather than putting it aside and continue after a good solid 8 hours sleep.
And so I’m doing another one today, to try and sleep at a sensible hour so as to fix my sleeping pattern (another of my goals, though I won’t be able to permanently fix it until I get a better job—yet another of my goal; most of my goals are borne out of the Snowball Effect)
I’ve got this weekend booked off work anyway, and I don’t think I’m needed in mid-week, so I’m basically my own man until next Friday. Plenty of time to fix my bodyclock, and jobhunting in the meanwhile.

Chris has done nothing this year. :(
I have terrible ‘bags’ or ‘dark circles’ under my eyes due to my (often self-induced) tiredness.
Though I’ve been trying to shift them for over a year, I still receive comments in work to my tired appearance, and yes this may have something to do with the fact that I work odd hours. So this goal will be affected by my ability to achieve another of my goals this new year, which is to find myself a better job which pays well and has normal working hours.
Also when it’s sunny I need to venture outdoors a lot more. This pale skin, black-eyed Dracula look of mine is not a good one.

My plan to make this happen:
- Get up in time to powerwalk for 30 minutes before breakfast.
- Take my vitamins
- Drink green tea instead of coffee
- Sleep for 7-8 hours/night, no more
- Sleep when it’s dark out, never during the day
- Eat regularly, never skip a meal!
- Meditate & do yoga and pilates to release stress and tension

ian20x want to do something original
I don’t get this one. I have good sleep- between 6-8 hours, more often than not its 8 hours. I goto bed at a reasonable hour. I eat reasonably well. I bought a comfy new bed. Yet I’ll feel tired quite often, feel I’ll need cafine to keep me going at certain points in the day and nearly always have these hideous blag bags under my eyes. Why?!?

Lis reflecting and making better choices in life.
This goal was added because I’m always tired. Sure, I’m going through the most difficult time of my life, I’m anxious about my son going to college in the fall, I’m trying to keep up with the increase of gas prices as my teens are driving my SUV as if it’s a Hybrid or a little Smart Car, I’m chasing and entertaining my precious 18 month old grandson every day while his mother is in college full-time and healthy eating habits, what’s that?
So, I need to get a plan together that will help me to relax, get enough rest, a peaceful bedtime routine and change my eating habits. I don’t sleep through the night. I’m tossing and turning, thinking and planing, hoping and praying but not sleeping.
My beautiful green eyes (always being complimented on) have dark circles under them. It’s time to stop being tired and have eyes that look rested and refreshed. And a body that is like the energizer bunny… :)

When I added this goal, I was tired. Tired from the day. Tired from life. Tired of the way things were. Tired from oversleep. Tired from overstimulation.
Now, I have a good job with a great schedule. I understand the way caffeine and alcohol influence my sleep habits and can time them well enough to get a better night’s sleep. I’m happy enough with the state of things that I’m not tired of my life. The only thing I’m tired of is being tired and that’s starting to fade away!

I didn’t think i’ll accomplish any of my goals here, but alas, finally i can say i’m not tired or at the very least much less tired then before.

I stopped drinking caffeine, exercise regularly and have lost 25 pounds. I think those things have really given me a lot more energy.
