move to a new home

Yes, finally moving day was on saturday and we loaded our 110 boxes of stuff and funiture on a 7,5 tons truck and said good frickin´ bye to our wet, dark and shitty basement flat as well as to that pig of a landlord…

We now live in a wonderful dry and bright sunshine flat which is even larger than our old one. My little boy now has his own room and we are all very satisfied. Life is so much better now that this lies behind me.

Moving to a new home is really a big change of life but worth it!

in may 2001 when i rented my previous decidedly uncool but quite inexpensive place after a quick survey of a new city (pune), i told myself, “it’s only a temporary residence. i’ll move to a better place pretty soon, once i’m settled in the city and start earning some dough”... little did i realize it would take close to four years to actually do it!

this must be the closest i’ve come to witness the power of inertia, mr. newton!

in my flat really do make me and my girlfriend sick. In order to avoid the fungus from spreading we have to heat so much that it really is uncomfortable for us followed by opening all windows for regular air exchange in winter with 10 degrees celsius minus. I have been sick twice the last two months and have constant problems with an infected ear…

Now that we will have a little baby child living with us soon we will move out of this shitty flat.

Fortunatly we already found a new flat and and signed the agreement some days ago! We will move into the new flat in 4 weeks and leave this unpleasant chapter of our life behind us…
