ive suffered from migraines for years, 1st they appeared as a child i seemed to have them almost constantly, my mum took me to the hospital at the age of 11 to have a brain scan done but that proved fruitless.over the years my migrains seemed to be less frequent, id say i’d have one that lasted for 3 to 4 days every couple of months, but now i carnt go a full week without one, if its not the bright sunlight that sets it off its a funny smell. At its peak it renders me powerless,i have to lie in a dark room, i vomit a lot, i carnt move and i see spots in front of my eyes.I recently went to see my Gp who gave me a script for these new pills especially for migrains, but im too afraid to take them after reading the possible side effects of these pills, one pill just as the symptons appear should do the trick but the side effects are swelling of the throat and chest pains, nose bleeds and dizzyness.
Do i put up with the migrains or try the pills????
Does anyone have any suggestions???

Very true, migraines are emotionally caused 75% of the time.
I am trying to relax more, fresh air, water, eating right, iron. I try to stay away from medicines (side effects)
After consulting with the doctor, he said:
No coffee, chocolate, milk, wheat, drugs, alcohol, smoking, sugar, cheeses, red meats, peanuts or nuts…
I replied: If you say no sex, I am going to shoot myself, there is nothing worth living for!
