Does anyone else feel like though they mean this goal literally, some people might take it as a euphemism for, well, something else?

I recently got a breadmaker as a gift. I have yet to master the art of bread. Ny first loaf turned to rubber, the second collapsed inside itself and tasted like glue, and the third tasted like bread but was nowhere close in the appearance department.I will keep trying!
I made the Rosemary Focaccia from this website:

and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I’m definitely encouraged to start baking more.
redjellosquares is headed to diffraction.etsy.com and so should you!
Everytime we’ve had a dinner party lately I’ve been making bread from scratch, plus lots of banana bread. And while the variety of bread isn’t that great the volume certainly is….
I still don’t make as much bread as I might like (and I don’t know if I ever could… there really isn’t anything better than fresh, homemade bread), but I’ve been making a lot more of it than I used to. I’m going to call this one ‘done’.
Simple and delicious! Not without problems, though. The book I got my recipe from called for a suspiciously tiny amount of yeast and so it took 5 hours to rise instead of 1! I initially called it failure but left it covered and checked hours later to find it finally rose, so I proceeded to bake it then. During the extra time, I think the dough dried out a bit. They were still tasty, but next time around I will compensate for what has to be an error in the book by adding a normal amount.
Last night! Whoo hoo. Yeah, it wasnt fantastic, but it was nice to try!
Apparently it is the most delicious bread my husband has ever eaten!
alicia_e is just waking up
I made a foccacia for small group and a cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast. I put the raisins in too soon, though, and they got so chopped up by the kneading blade that it doesn’t look like there are hardly any in there. Next time I will hold a little longer before I throw them in the mix. Also, the blade got stuck in the bottom of the loaf and it stuck to the bottom of the pan. Next time I make that kind, I will be sure to take the blade out before the bake cycle starts and I might try spraying the bottom of the pan with Pam as well.
